Approval of Louth PEACEPLUS Action Plan

The PEACEPLUS team in Louth Council are delighted to announce that they have received approval of the Louth PEACEPLUS Action Plan from the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

The Action Plan is supported by the PEACEPLUS Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

The Programme is designed to support peace and prosperity across Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland, building upon the work of the previous PEACE and INTERREG Programmes.

The PEACEPLUS Action Plan is a co-designed proposal, representing the need and requirements in Louth for PEACEPLUS investment and outlining what will be done with the funding.

The formal Letter of Offer is still to be proffered by SEUPB, however the approval marks the achievement of a huge milestone in the process to receiving the €4,679,354.00 funding.

Advertising of project Tenders is expected in 2025.

From Antrim and Newtownabbey to Sligo, each plan demonstrates innovative thinking and a collaborative spirit in addressing unique local challenges.
