Hosting an Event

If you are proposing to host an event that will attract members of the public up to a gathering of 5,000 persons, you should consult the attached guide hereunder:

This guide was adopted by Louth County Council and is supported by An Garda Siochana and the Health Service Executive (HSE).

Various application forms are also provided in the links below. Please complete the relevant form(s) in full for your application to be considered and also provide the documents mentioned in the form(s) to enable Louth County Council to make swift decisions:

A detailed Event Management Plan is always required by the Council while organising any major/ minor event: EMP-Template.docx (size 68.4 KB)

If Children are involved in the event, please complete the following Child Safeguarding Statement: CSS-Template-TULSA.docx (size 19.9 KB)

Completed applications should be submitted to Events Section, Directorate of Placemaking & Physical Development, Louth County Council, County Hall, Millennium Centre, Dundalk, Co Louth or email to events@louthcoco.ie
