New Online Road Opening Website – MRL (MapRoad Roadworks Licensing)

A new national online road opening system, MapRoad Roadworks Licensing (MRL), will be in operation in Louth County Council from 1st July 2018.

Paper based road opening licence applications will no longer be accepted from this date.

The MRL system is managed and facilitated by the Road Management Office (RMO) and licences will be issued through the online system by Louth County Council.

The RMO provides registration and support to users of the MRL system.
