Strategic Policy Committees

The statutory basis for SPCs is set out in Section 48 of the Local Government Act 2001 as amended by Section 48 (1a) of the Local Government Reform Act 2014.

Strategic Policy Committees advise and assist the Council in its work and are tasked with the formulation and development of policy for approval by Council.
