Muirhevnamor Community Centre Extension
This 2200 square foot extension provides a shared space for the ongoing work by Muirhevnamor Community Council, ensuring the continued viability of this vital community resource. The centre provides training courses for lifelong learning, youth leadership programmes, drug and alcohol rehabilitation meetings and acts as a hub and social meeting place for the local and wider community.

An opening event was held after its completion in June 2023, where there was a dance performance by the Top Theatre School, Dundalk. Following this, a plaque commemorating the involvement of the EU, the PEACE IV programme and Louth County Council was unveiled.

In June 2023 a celebration event for all PEACE IV projects was held at the Muirhevnamor Community Centre. This event was to acknowledge the work and outcomes of all 16 projects accomplished, covering the three themes of PEACE IV – Children & Young People, Building Positive Relations, and Shared Spaces. At this event there was a harp performance by Music Generation Louth, and M.A.D Youth Theatre provided a performance of An Táin.
