Anti-Clockwise

Delivered by Dundalk Youth Centre - DYC

The Anti-Clockwise project launched in early 2019 with a target to recruit 430 young people from South Armagh and Louth. Over the duration of the project, the young people participated in the project elements which included drama, music, visual arts, singing, movement, costume design and filmmaking and performed their work at exhibitions. They also received training in Peace and reconciliation. This training programme was a fundamental element of the project that introduced key learning topics on conflict such as racism, discrimination and sectarianism.

In October 2019 at An Tain Arts Centre a variety of artwork from Young People across nine youth projects was on display to celebrate the first phase of the project. The exhibition showcased the achievements of 132 young people from Louth and South Armagh.
