Louth County Council is seeking passionate, community-minded groups to become key players in the care and protection of our stunning coastal gems. We're inviting proposals to take part in Beach Management Committees for a three-year term at the following Blue Flag and Green Coast beaches:

  • Clogherhead
  • Port 
  • Templetown 
  • Seapoint

This is your chance to make a real impact, take pride in your local environment, and work alongside others who care just as deeply as you do. Together, we can ensure these beaches remain clean, safe, and sustainable for generations to come.

Who Can Apply?

We’re looking for voluntary community groups who: Are committed to regular beach clean-ups and hands-on coastal stewardship. Can demonstrate a strong contribution to beach and area management. Are tax compliant (tax registration/clearance certificates required).

What We’re Looking For

We’re especially interested in innovative and eco-conscious groups. Extra credit goes to proposals that: Boost sustainability and lower environmental impact Include biodiversity or pollinator-friendly actions Highlight benefits for climate change resilience
