The Louth County Development Plan 2015-2021 was adopted on 28th September 2015 and comes into effect on 26th October 2015.The Plan contains an overall strategy for the proper planning and sustainable development of County Louth over the lifetime of the Plan.
The Plan comprises 3 Volumes :
Volume 1 : Written Statement and Map 3.1 Development Zones
Volume 2A : Appendix 1 & Appendix 2 including Maps
Volume 2B : Appendix 3– Appendix 17
Volume 2C: Appendix 18 Record of Protected Structures
Volume 3: Environmental Report
The Plan is also available for inspection at all Louth County Council Customer Service Desks and all public libraries in County Louth.
It is possible to purchase a copy of the plan on CD for €5.00 , purchase the zoning map for €15.00 and purchase a hard copy of the plan for €150.00

**At the March 2017 Council meeting the elected members determined to delete the carriage lifting shed from the Record of Protected Structures, however all other railway buildings on this site will remain on the RPS and will read as follows: D011* - Detached multiple-bay former railway shunting buildings, built circa.1870. Rectangular plan gable fronted three bay two storey shed, attached gable fronted single storey shed to south , excluding the demolished carriage lifting shed.
**At the June 2017 Council meeting the elected members determined to delete Anaverna Gate Lodge (North) from the Record of Protected Structures, RPS Lhs004-006D. Detached two bay single storey, former gate lodge built circa 1859 Anaverna, Ravensdale, Co. Louth
