RTE Six One live broadcast from Louth County Museum

Louth County Council Museum Curator, Brian Walsh, appeared in a special news feature on RTE Six One news on Monday, 12th June.

The report was broadcast live from County Museum, Dundalk, and highlighted the legal obligations around the discovery of archaeological objects.

Brian discussed the importance of prompt reporting of any archaeological discoveries with RTE's Northeast correspondent Laura Hogan.

He also highlighted the rules governing the use of metal detectors.
