LOUTH COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD

Section 75 Roads Act, 1993

(Roads Regulations 1994)

  

Louth County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to close the under mentioned road to all public vehicular and pedestrian/cycle traffic  from 1st August 2023 to 31st May 2024, to carry out major refurbishment works to the Obelisk Bridge.

The King Williams Glen Road (L-2321-0), more commonly known as the Obelisk Bridge Road, Drogheda, Co. Louth  

The extent of the road closure will be the length of the bridge.

It is anticipated the road closure will be for a duration of not more than 10 months.
