Presidential Election 2025 – Candidate Nominations

Following the Ordinary Monthly Meeting held on 15th September 2025, councillors resolved that candidates seeking Louth County Council's nomination for the upcoming Presidential Election must secure the support of two local councillors to be considered as a potential nominee.

Written confirmation of support from two local councillors must be submitted to Louth County Council’s Meeting Administrator by 5pm on Tuesday, 16th September 2025.

Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered.
