Temporary Road Closure Notice – Patrick Street, Drogheda

Location: Patrick Street (L-1000-63), from the junction with Bolton Street to the junction with Hardmans Gardens
When: Wednesday 14th May 2025, from 9:30am to 3pm

Louth County Council has made the decision to temporarily close Patrick Street during the times above to facilitate road resurfacing works.

Diversions will be in place as follows:

  • Eastbound Traffic: Via George Street / North Road (R132-1) → Windmill Road → Bothar Brugha → Hardmans Gardens → Scarlet Street
  • Westbound Traffic: Via Hardmans Gardens → Bothar Brugha → Windmill Road → North Road / George Street
  • Local access and emergency access will be maintained at all times

This closure is in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 (Roads Regulations 1994).

Temporary Road Closure Notice – Hardmans Gardens, Drogheda

Location: Northbound lane of Hardmans Gardens (L-1665-87), from Patrick Street to Lourdes Square (approx. 75m)
When: Thursday, 15th May 2025, from 9:30am to 3pm

Louth County Council has made the decision to temporarily close the northbound lane of Hardmans Gardens to allow for road resurfacing works.

Diversion in place (northbound only):

  • Traffic will be diverted:
  • West onto Patrick Street (L-1000-63)
  • North via George Street / North Road (R-132-1)
  • Onto Windmill Road (L-1004-55)
  • Then east along Bothar Brugha (L-16651)
  • Local access will be maintained, and emergency access will be maintained at all times

This closure is in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 (Roads Regulations 1994).
