Temporary Road Closure Notice: Cromwell’s Lane

Location: Cromwell’s Lane, Drogheda (L-10812-15)
When: From 8am, Monday 26th May to Friday 30th May 2025

To facilitate essential road upgrade works, Louth County Council plans to temporarily close the road from the top of Cromwell’s Lane, Drogheda, to its junction with the R132 to traffic.

  • Diversions will be in place to help traffic move safely around the area.
  • Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

This closure is in line with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 (Roads Regulations 1994). If you wish to object to this closure, please send your objection in writing (marked ‘road closure objection’) to: William Walsh, Senior Executive Officer, Operations, Louth County Council, no later than 4pm, Friday 16th May 2025.
