Temp. bathing prohibition notice in place at Templetown beach

There is a temporary bathing prohibition notice in place at Templetown beach in Co. Louth. Bathers are advised not to swim at this location due to elevated results identified in a sample taken from the water on the 29th  August 2023. The beach at Templetown is closed to bathers until further notice. Investigations are underway and the bathing water is to be re-sampled and continuously monitored.Environment
