NEW - Built Heritage Investment Scheme 2024

Applications are now being accepted for the Built Heritage Investment Scheme (BHIS) 2024

Minister of State for Heritage and Electoral Reform, Mr Malcolm Noonan, TD, has announced the continued implementation of the Built Heritage Investment Scheme 2024.

This scheme was officially launched on 02nd November, 2023 and seeks to encourage the leveraging of private capital to invest in a number of small-scale, labour-intensive projects to repair and conserve structures protected under the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended) and in certain cases, for the conservation of structures within Architectural Conservation Areas, and to support the employment of skilled and experienced conservation professionals, craft workers and tradespeople.

Funding Available

The minimum funding award under this scheme will be €2,500, up to a maximum of €15,000.  Successful applicants will be required to, at a minimum, match their funding award i.e. 50/50.
