PEACEPLUS St. Nicholas Church Harvest Harmony Festival 2026
As part of the Co. Louth PEACEPLUS Action Plan, the Harvest Harmony Festival was held at St Nicholas Church of Ireland, Dundalk 'The Green Church', on Saturday the 17th of October and Monday the 19th of October 2026.
This event celebrated youth, music and cross-border community and friendship through a series of musical performances and activities.
On Saturday the 17th of October the Church was open to the public, allowing people to explore and learn about the Church’s rich history. Music Generation Louth Junior Ensembles performed a beautiful harp performance, and afterwards there was a fun, hands-on session for children and adults to have a go at playing the harp.
On Monday the 19th of October, choirs from Dundalk Grammar Schools, Newry High School, St. Mary’s Primary School Mullaghbawn, Coláiste Rís School, and Bunscoil Dhroim an Tí were invited to perform to share their music and proudly represent their schools as part of Harvest Harmony. They then all collaborated on two final performances bringing the Harvest Harmony Festival Weekend to a special close.
