Temporary Road Closure Magdelene Street Drogheda

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD
Section 75 Roads Act, 1993
(Roads Regulations 1994)
Louth County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to close:
- Magdelane Street (L1666-86) from its junction with King Street (L16643-75) & Scarlett Street (L-1664-81) to its junction with Rope Walk (L-10006-65)
To vehicular traffic between the hours 9am to 4pm each day from Tuesday 19th November, 2024 to Friday 22nd November, 2024 (roads will be open outside these hours) to facilitate road resurfacing works on Magdelane Street (L1666-86). Local access and emergency access will be maintained.
Diversion Route South: South Bound traffic approaching Magdalene Street will be diverted east along Scarlett Street ((L-1664-81) south along Bredin Street (L16643-75), west along North Strand Road (R-167-12), west along Merchants Quay (L-1672-99), west along North Quay (L-16727-2) to its junction with Shop Street (R-900-13).
Diversion Route North: North Bound Traffic approaching King Street (L16643-75) will be diverted west along William Street (L16741-80), to the junction of Magdalene Street (L1675-85), west along Fair Street (L-16744-61) to junction of George’s Street (R-132-1).
Any person who wishes to object to this closure should lodge an objection in writing (envelope clearly marked “Road Closure Objection”) to the undersigned or via Louth County Council’s Online Consultation Portal using the following link https://consult.louthcoco.ie/en/consultation/notice-intention-close-roads-drogheda not later than 5pm on Friday 8th November, 2024.
