EIA and NIS Direction by An Bord Pleanála – N52 Ardee Bypass

Louth County Council hereby gives notice that Orders have been made by An Bord Pleanála in respect of the above Project with regards the following :-

  1. In respect of the Board’s powers under section 50(1)(b) of the Roads Act, 1993, as amended the Board’s decision is NOT TO DIRECT the Road Authority to prepare an Environmental Impact Assessment Report in respect of the proposed road development.
  2. In respect of the Boards powers under article 250(3)(a) of the planning and Development regulation, 2001, as amended the Board’s decision to direct the roads authority not to prepare a Natura Impact Statement in respect of the proposed development.

A person wishing to challenge the validity of the Board’s decision may do so by way of an application for judicial review, under Order 84 of the Rules of the Superior Courts ( S.I.
